Edwin H. Krick, M.D., graduated
from the College of Medical
Evangelists in 1961, the last
class before CME became Loma
Linda University. After a year
of internship, he went to Japan
as a missionary, before
returning to Loma Linda to
complete a Masters in Public
Health and a residency in
Internal Medicine, followed by a
fellowship in Rheumatology-Immunology
at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla.
Since 1976 he has been on the
faculty of the Loma Linda
University School of Medicine,
and was the Dean of the School
of Public Health from 1986-1990.
His wife Beverly is also no
stranger to Loma Linda, having
until recently served as the
President of the National
Auxiliary to the School of
Medicine Alumni Association. She
now volunteers at the Loma Linda
University Medical Center and is
active in the University Church.
The Kricks have a deep interest
in promoting a healthy
lifestyle, which is at the heart
of a scientific approach to the
prevention and treatment of
disease--in short, what will
help us all be 'Healthy,
Wealthy, and Wise.'
