Sam
Leonor serves as Chaplain of La Sierra University, and
also pastors the First Service of the University Church,
a Seventh-day Adventist congregation dedicated to
exploring contemporary Biblical spirituality. His
ministry focuses on faith that engages culture deeply,
is driven by a desire to love like Jesus did, and
emphasizes justice. He hopes to see people continue to
attach themselves to the work of the church as it
continues to reveal Jesus to the world.
Sam was
raised in Central America, where his parents were part
of developing health care missions. He attended Southern
College and Andrews University. He has been a pastor in
North Carolina and California.
He is married to
Shelley Campbell Leonor. They have a daughter, Alexandra, and
a son, Samuel Micah. |
