ABOUT THE
HOST...
Karl Haffner, PhD., is currently the senior pastor
of the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church in
Dayton, Ohio, following a ten-year stint in Walla
Walla, Washington, where he served as the senior
pastor of the College Church. He has B.A. degrees in
theology and business from Walla Walla College, an
M.B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University, and an
M.Div. and Ph.D. from Andrews University. Haffner
has authored Pilgrim’s Problems, I’d Rather Kiss a
Catfish, The Cure for the Last Daze, and several
other books. He also writes articles for Christian
journals and travels extensively to preach wherever
he can. Haffner and his wife, Cherié, have two
girls, Claire and Lindsey.
