With Carolyn Thompson’s passing on June 27, 2018, LLBN lost not just a founding board member and long-time program host, but a staunch advocate, faithful supporter, and a dear friend.

Carolyn always said that that the Lord has commissioned us all to do His work and that part of her commission was to help LLBN. She lived up to that conviction and stood by LLBN as an loyal advocate and solid supporter, willingly filling various roles no matter how humble.

​

It was to her surprise that she felt the Lord calling her to facilitate a program to share the teachings of Jesus. Carolyn called her program Searching for Answers, which became one of LLBN’s most popular programs and longest running series. Though she often joked about how nervous she was in her early days in front of the camera, Carolyn went on to host Searching for Answers for 18 years.

Carolyn’s gift of encouragement to me personally is largely responsible for my continued involvement in LLBN. She will be greatly missed but her legacy lives on in this ministry and in our hearts.
